Since making his acting debut in the feature film “1+1=11” (2012/directed by Yazaki Hitoshi), he has played a variety of characters in numerous works, including the lead role in “Hungry Lion” (2017/directed by Ogata Takaomi), which was screened at famous film festivals such as the Tokyo International Film Festival and the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
In 2020, he produced the feature film “Kamata Prelude” (2020/directed by Ryutaro Nakagawa, Mayu Akiyama, Yuka Yasukawa, and Hirofumi Watanabe), which confronts sexual harassment in the film industry. The film was selected as the closing film at the Osaka Asian Film Festival, and he also served as a jury member for the International Competition section.
His debut feature film, “Blue Imagine,” was selected for the Bright Future category at the 53rd International Film Festival Rotterdam.

【STORY】
Yeji, a freshman at university, is to be taught how to ride a bicycle by his senior colleague, Konwoo, during the summer vacation. Yeji is able to ride a bicycle by himself before the last day of the agreement, but pretends not to be able to ride in front of Konwoo. On the last day of the summer vacation, Yeji and Konwoo’s last lesson begins.
